I LOVE sleeping naked, and yes I still sleep with stuffed toys!
Hey loves! Ok so this is such a different post for me to do. For those who don’t know, I love snapchat and probably snap the first thing when I wake up or right before I head to bed and a question I’ve gotten each time is , ” wow are you naked?” or “you’re always naked, is that how you go to bed?”. The answer is YES AND I FREAKING LOVE IT! Just a disclaimer, sleeping naked doesn’t necessarily insinuate something sexual for me (even though it’s been proved that it is good for you sexually as well). I just do it because it’s liberating and incredibly great for my body. Here are five reasons why it’s so fantastic and why you should sleep naked too!
You get a much better sleep
I don’t know about you, but getting into a deep sleep is the best thing, I feel like I’m truly at rest and I’m not fidgeting , somehow by sleeping naked my body has gotten into that deep sleep phase a lot easier than when I’ve heavily clothed myself.
It’s great for your reproductive system
Ok I can’t really speak for men but girls, this is soooooo good for your VAG (really feels weird saying that maybe we’ll just stick too hoo-ha) , this is when your “hoo-ha” will get some air, you’ll be reducing yeast production (YEAST INFECTIONS ARE NOT FUN), as it thrives in moist environments, and your vagina will most definitely thank you for it.
We all want the perfect skin and one step closer to getting there is by SLEEPING NAKED. When your naked your skin really gets to breathe, and if you’ve got any issues with like body acne lets say, oxygen will be sent to those problem areas and you’ll be feeling so much better.
Your body temperature is controlled
When you’ve got your pajamas’ on, your body will most likely heat up, and I’m sure you don’t want to wake up sweaty and sticky ( or maybe you do? I don’t know?) , sleeping naked will automatically lower your body temperature which did I mention leads to a much better sleep ;)?
Helps regulate your cortisol
Cortisol is a very strange chemical in the body but it can do a lot of damage. When you sleep naked, it helps keep your body temperature at the optimal ranges so your body can better create cortisol. If you sleep overheated your cortisol levels tend to stay high, even after you wake up. This increase can often lead to increased anxiety (I already suffer from anxiety so I don’t want it to get worse 🙁 ) , cravings for bad food, weight gain etc.
