I’m never good at DIY’s but finally created my own simple (DIY 😉 ) Coffee scrub and it smells so fucking good!
Hey loves! How are ya? I’m actually really good! The past couple days have been a bit off for me so it feels good to bounce back and feel content! In the shower, I FREAKING LOVE scrubs, they feel so nice on my body and one of my favorites is the Soap and Glory breakfast scrub, there’s one in like a maple syrup scent (which is my favorite) and there is one that is more of a citrus scent. I got one for my friend Margarita as well on her birthday and she was absolutely in love with it! I highly recommend it, especially for sensitive skin! Sadly though, my Soap and Glory scrub is almost finished and I want to save just the little bit left that I’ve got, so I decided to create my own home made scrub ( if you’re not much of a coffee fan, I’ll create a different one and post it up in the coming weeks) .
This coffee scrub is so incredibly simple to make you’ll just need three things :
- Coconut oil
- Ground coffee
- Brown sugar
- Vanilla extract (optional if you want a different scent)
Right after you’re done scrubbing it all over, your body will feel fantastic! Although, I do have to mention that it can get quite messy in your shower!
Try this scrub out and let me know how it makes you feel by snapchatting me @petronella17 or sending me a tweet @petronellaa_
Busy week, treat yo’self.
Hey loves! How are you? I’m sooooo incredibly busy but I really wanted to post today and check in with you guys. I hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend so far and please let me know what you’re up to! The past week has been so incredibly crazy with tons of assesments being due super soon, being a film student is definitely not easy! Although I’ve been all over the place I wanted to kind of pamper myself this weekend so I got a new face mask from lush and this is a new buy for me but I have to say I don’t love it immediately, I’ll have to try it out a few more times and maybe I’ll grow to love it? I recently asked you guys to ask me a bunch of questions because I really wanted to film a Q&A and I got more than I was expecting and definitely some good questions in there too! If you guys didn’t manage to ask me anything this time round make sure to follow my snapchat – @petronella17 or my twitter to ask away! I’ve got to get running now but enjoy your weekend!
One of the best cleansers I’ve used by Lush Cosmetics, Let the good times roll!
Hey loves, how are ya? I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Mine was pretty okay, not as amazing as I hoped it would be but today I thought about starting the week on a good note and sharing something that I have been loving for the past month or so. I went to Lush a while back and I really needed a new cleanser because I wanted to try something new but also keep it friendly to my skin and natural! You guys know I love the body shop, especially because all of their products are animal cruelty free and Lush has the exact same policy. This instantly drew me because I haven’t bought a lot of products from Lush in the past but when I needed a new cleanser I emphasised on the fact that it needed to be hydrating and moisturising because I have dry skin (well it’s been like this for the past year) . The staff helped me pick out a cleanser I really liked ( they have a large variety depending on your skin type) and it was this one. First off, it smells like caramel popcorn which is my absolute fav! Second, it’s got a few grains in there that exfoliate the skin and leave it really nice and smooth instead of incredibly dry. Note that this isn’t an exfoliate, the grains just act like one but it’s a cleanser. Overall, this not only smells good but it feels so good and I feel like is the reason for a vast improvement in my skin! I love it! The next time you head to lush and you find this product, try it out and always let me know what you think!
// The woman I wanted to be – Diane Von Furstenburg / Chance ; Eu Fraîche – Chanel / Vitamin E face mist – The Body Shop / Immortelle Precious Eye Balm – L’occitane / #GIRLBOSS – Sophia Amoruso
Hey loves! I hope you’re doing amazing! I recently bought a few things and was so excited to get them, that I just had to show you what exactly I bought. Most of you know that one of my resolutions this year was to read more so I finally found two books I’ve had my eye on for a little while, #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso and Diane Von Furstenburg’s “The woman I wanted to be”. I’m so excited to get started with these two fantastic books. As for “How to be Parisian Wherever You Are” , I’m in love with that book, so funny yet you learn so much!It is such an entertaining book as well and I recommend all lovers of fashion and Parisian culture to go out and get it! The next thing I got was the limited edition of the Chance eu de parfum in eu fraîche by Chanel. About a month ago was the first time I smelled this fragrance and was in love! I love floral scents and this one is very floral and very fresh! It’s a different scent in terms of what I usually buy but I’m loving it’s uniqueness. I also bought a few skincare items , like the vitamin e face mist and the eye balm from L’occitane. I’ve used the Vitamin E face mist for about the past four years and whether you’re wearing makeup or not I feel like this is the perfect mist to give your skin a little bit of extra hydration, it’s amazing! The eye balm however is very new. I’m just getting into eye creams and eye balms and it is because I do tend to get a little bit of puffiness under the eyes if I haven’t slept well or if I’m tired or even if my skin isn’t hydrated enough. So far I’ve been switching between this one and the vitamin e eye cream from The Body Shop and they both get the job done, I’m so happy with all of my purchases!
What do you guys think of my recent buys?

Hey loves, how are ya? I’ve been seeing bangs (fringe’s) come back into trend because it’s been in recent fashion shows by designers such as Gucci, John Galliano , Giles etc. I love this trend so much , I was thinking of getting bangs soon. The only time I had bangs was when I was like 14 years old and I tried to look like Lady Gaga in her video for “Love Game” haha! Of course if I were to get them now I would switch it up a little and I will definitely use the photos above as inspo! Anyway, I think anyone could rock this trend and it looks so chic and sophisticated!
What do you think of this trend?
